On this STEAM DAY, these 5th graders used copper tape and batteries to light up the led bulb for our pumpkin eyes 👀 🎃 They also read 5 Pumpkins on a Gate and worked on building their own gate! The students discovered how many could they stack on the gate before it falls! 🎃
🤖 During the geography unit, third graders created maps and used OZObots to journey across North America to find each of the five geographical features! 🤖

Mrs. Flippin’s 1st grade students loved using the coding mice to review life cycles and how things grow and change! 🌿👾 Way to go first graders!!
🐾 The students had a blast at the STUFF’D PAL PARTY!! 🎈 The students loved earning to make their stuff’d pal. Thank you SO much for every person who donated!! We raised over $12,000 for our school. That’s all because of YOU!! 💙
We can’t believe it’s already been one whole week since we had our AMAZING international night!! This event is one of our favorites events at Johnson! We 💙 celebrating all of our awesome cultures and countries represented at our school. We are so grateful for all the diversity our school has to offer! 🌎🌍

📚 Ms. Taylor’s 2nd graders had a great afternoon listening to our mystery readers! First up was Dr. Gordon visiting from the Rotary Club. Our second mystery reader was our very own Jaguar from 3rd grade who earned to come read two of her favorite books. We had the best time. 💙
